Confined Space Rescue Safety Training

The course aims to provide the delegates knowledge about the procedures, legal requirements (according applicable local, national and international standards) and safe working practices that team has to follow while working in a confined space and the methodologies for rescue from a confined space under different scenarios.. Based on International and national safety standards, the course aims to enlighten the delegates about reasonably practicable methodologies applicable to industry. The course covers both the theoretical training as well as practical assessment.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

By the end of the session, the delegates will be able to:

• Understand current legislation regarding confined space entry
• Recognizing types of confined spaces and their associated hazards
• Risk Assessment associated with confined space task
• Testing and monitoring of the atmosphere
• Implement control measures to eliminate or reduce potential risk
• Organizing and implementing appropriate accident and emergency procedures
• The safe use and maintenance of working breathing apparatus (BA)
• Designing and implementing a safe confined space rescue procedure.
